Bartram’s Garden, Philly Engagement Session

I’ve been to Philadelphia four times in my life. The most recent trip before Eugenia + Danny’s engagement session was on a pitstop en route to a campground in the middle-of-nowhere, PA. Instead of seeing the Liberty Bell, my older brother and I ended up stuck for three hours waiting for a locksmith because I locked the key inside the car. Oops. Safe to say, I was excited to head to Philly again this year and venture more than six feet from my parked car.

I first met up with Danny and Eugenia at their dreamy lil house to document the life they’ve built with their adorable bulldog, Omar. In-home shoots are a beautiful way to capture everyday routines. Years from now, these two will look back on the photos and remember this season living in their first home together. Afterward, we headed to Bartram’s Garden, a stunning park that runs along Schuylkill River with views of the Philly skyline. The sunset was especially golden for a winter evening. I can’t wait until I have another reason to visit this adorable city.
