Marissa and Nicholas’ day encompassed everything I love about New York City weddings. They began the day at the Manhattan City Hall, where they said “I do” with both of their moms as the two witnesses. Friends and other family greeted them outside with fistfuls of flower petals and deep smiles.
Afterwards, they caught a cab up to The Bowery Hotel, where everyone toasted to their beautiful future ahead. Dinner was just a stone’s throw away at Supper NYC–the intimate guest list enjoyed authentic Northern Italian cuisine. Between bites of pasta and prosciutto, Marissa and Nicholas’ parents each shared stories and words of wisdom. A little post-dinner espresso pick-me-up kept the vibes high.
The night continued on at La Noxe, where even more friends awaited the newlyweds’ arrival. Fueled by espresso martinis and negronis, everyone swayed to techno beats. The atmosphere was electric, and the night seemed to last forever (as all perfect NYC nights do).
