Morgan and Trevor chose to get married among the rolling hills of Montepulciano, Italy. It was late May, that special early summer feeling filled the air. Their welcome dinner: a four course meal where the wine flowed, no seats were assigned, and Trevor’s dad shared a poem he wrote about their love entitled “Under a Tuscan Sky.”
The morning of the wedding, they spent time relaxing by the pool and creating quality memories with friends. The pair parted ways to get ready–Morgan with her small group of girlfriends, and Trevor with his guys. Having chosen not to do a first look, Morgan entered the beautiful ceremony space, filled with an abundance of colorful flowers, to meet eyes with Trevor at the arch. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as they proclaimed their vows, and then practically floated back down the aisle to hug their friends and family.
At cocktail hour, guests sipped on spritzers and lounged around a turquoise fountain, the tall green trees providing shade from the Tuscan sun. The napkins adorned the face of Brewer, Morgan and Trevor’s pup who sadly had to stay home in Brooklyn.
Dinner, another meal of delicious Italian delicacies, was served under a twinkling canopy of lights. The long dining table, perfect for their intimate guest list of 55, was situated perfectly for cheersing to the heartfelt speeches. As the sun set, the party moved to the wine cellar, where everyone danced their hearts out. I’ll be thinking about this wedding for a long-time. There’s something so special about friends and family traveling from far and wide to be fully present in your union. More of this in 2024, please.
