Casey and Matt’s winter wedding at the Freehand Hotel in the Flatiron neighborhood was so classically New York–it was genuine, stylish, joyful, timeless, unpretentious, and wildly fun. All the best adjectives that come to mind when I think of my city.
The pair got ready separately with their best friends, the individuals who have grown alongside them throughout their years growing up and in New York City. Casey and Matt shared their first look on the art-covered turquoise stairwell inside the hotel that was perfectly adorned with an abundance of candles and greenery. With a smaller guest list, their ceremony was so heartfelt–you could feel how every person in the room was involved in the intertwining of their lives. They kicked off the reception right with a lively first dance to Dua Lipa’s, “Levitating.” The rest of the evening was one big celebration–a dance party for the ages. Thank you Casey and Matt for trusting me to capture this beautiful day.
